Sebastian Lee, Founder
Sebastian Lee spent over 20 years working in the industry before founding Space B Tiling in 2019. He didn't want to do the same thing differently. He wanted to do it better. Built on a different set of values to the standard subcontractor, Space B Tiling is known for delivering on tight, demanding programmes without ever compromising on quality or customer service.
With a team of 12, we handle bathroom installations, kitchen fitting and tiling projects across Cardiff, Newport and the Vale of Glamorgan. Gas and electrical work is the only work we subcontract. Bathrooms are supply and fit or fit only; kitchens are fit only with customer-supplied units.
All our staff hold CSCS cards, and most of our trades hold City & Guilds and other relevant qualifications. We're SafeContractor accredited, BIFIS registered and carry £5 million public liability insurance, so you can be confident your home or site is in safe, qualified hands.

Do you charge for site visits or quotes?+
No. Site visits and quotes are always free. We aim to have your quote with you within 5 days of the visit.
Is the price fixed?+
Yes, we work to a fixed price as standard. The only exceptions are jobs with extenuating circumstances that genuinely can't be priced as a single unit, and we'll tell you up front if that applies.
How does payment work?+
Standard jobs are a 30% deposit with the balance on completion. Larger jobs are a 30% deposit followed by staged payments as the work progresses.
What does your guarantee cover?+
All our work carries a 2-year workmanship guarantee covering workmanship and sundry materials. It excludes acts of God and items or materials supplied by the customer but fitted by us.
Do you supply bathrooms and kitchens?+
Bathrooms can be full supply and fit, or fit only with your own sanitaryware. Kitchens are fit only. You supply the units and we install them.
Do you do gas and electrical work?+
Gas and electrical work is subcontracted. Every other trade, including tiling, plastering, carpentry and decorating, is carried out by our own team.
Can you work alongside my own builder?+
Yes. We can manage the whole project from start to finish, or work alongside your own contractors, whichever suits you.
